Katie worked for Hoak Insurance Services starting in 2014 until she lost her battle with breast cancer in June of 2026. Katie is the daughter of Gene and Heidi Hoak and left her brothers Steven and Jon and two children Cooper and Olivia. Katie left a legacy of helping others, both through her career in insurance and her personal commitments to helping others. After the death of her husband Trevor, Katie started the Walk With Hope Foundation to address mental health and helping others overcome obstacles in their lives. Today, her family carries on that legacy.
