Gene Hoak

Gene Hoak is the owner of Hoak Insurance Services and started his insurance career in 1988 after graduating from Florida State University with a BS in Risk Management and Insurance. After working for Erie Insurance as a District Sales Manager for 11 years, he joined the John C. Milliren Agency in New Bethlehem as an insurance agent. In 2004, Gene became owner of the Milliren Agency and later combined with the Fitzsimons Agency in Brookville in 2008. In 2015, Gene purchased the Neiswonger insurance agency in Reynoldsville and brought on their existing staff to his team. 2016 embarked a new venture, allowing Hoak Insurance to be functioning in multiple states. Son Steve Hoak is managing Hoak’s newest location in Louisville, KY. Hoak Insurance Services is now an agency with three PA locations and one KY location solely owned and managed by Gene and his family. Gene continues his education in his career and has earned the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor & Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. Active in his community, Gene serves the Historic Brookville Inc. as Treasurer, Brookville Hospital Board as Secretary, Dubois Regional Hospital as a Board member and Chairman of the DRMC Construction Oversight Committee. In his free time, Gene enjoys hunting, going to the beach, wine making and spending time on the front porch with family and friends.
